PH is for nature lovers who know everything is connected.
Local fruit is more nutritious.
Just like Locally Made = more benefits for you and your community + less carbon footprint + more Mana.

We could never encourage wellness for some women while jeopardizing other women’s wellness.
Poor working conditions in third-world countries put women’s health at risk
- the very thing an activewear brand is here to encourage.
We pay the highest wages to women sewers in CA vs. taking advantage of low wages overseas.
We work with fellow local businesses to circulate money in our community.

Small Business Owner Katie Lovelace hand draws all the PH prints.
Her love for nature radiates from this wearable art.
From her tiny boat home, she also does pattern making, sizing, tech packs,
color correcting during the printing process & all the graphic design.
Intention & Transparency allow for educated & conscious choices.

PH is here to disrupt the polluting fashion industry.
PH is the first to use biodegradable nylon.
We now also have hemp, the best fiber for the planet,
& coming soon: deadstock of 100% natural fiber.

How it leaves is as impactful as how it was created.
As is nutrition, wellness, nature & everything.
Our biodegradable brand demonstrates:
Leave it better than you found it.

Hi! It’s me Katie Lovelace:)
It’s been a long journey as a small business owner through Covid.
With constant closures to ensure the health of our Made-in-Ca community, we have finally finished relaunched!
I’m so excited to share with you what I’ve been working on since 2018 at PsychedelicHoney.com
Thank you for your support!

From working with a small artisan mill to innovate the first biodegradable polyamide fabric, to hand drawing 4 new prints & 2 new styles on my tiny boat home, to sewing a small batch, slowly & locally in CA, every step is filled with intention & gratitude for the planet & its people. Even my mom made the first samples:)

As a surfer & trail runner, at every step I’ve chosen what’s best for the planet. No cutting corners for corporate profit here.
Pure dedication to creating the most earth-friendly product.

FOUNDER BIO:

After dodging back-to-back natural disasters in her hometown of Santa Barbara & Kauai, Katie couldn’t ignore climate change anymore.
Fed up with corporate greenwashing in the yoga, surf, & outdoor sports industries after her sponsorship by Roxy Quiksilver,
she set out to prove a woman-owned small business can do it better.
She pivoted to create the most sustainable swim & activewear brand ever, by abandoning plastics & being the first to use biodegradable nylon in Ca.
No “Fully Sustainable by 2050.” It can & must be done now.

Katie lives between Kauai & a boat in her hometown of Santa Barbara, Ca with her husband, surfboard shaper, Ryan Lovelace.
She demonstrates tiny home living for the quality of life & environmental impact.
She is a wealth of knowledge on all things wellness.
She was an educator on superfoods & mushrooms a decade ago. She has taught kickboxing, pilates, and HIIT Yoga.

She is the only person born & raised in the Funk Zone of Santa Barbara, Ca - a once bohemian, marine-zoned industrial neighborhood filled with surf culture & artisans of all kinds.
When she’s not drawing or designing, you’ll find her trail running, surfing, studying skincare, or concocting a health recipe.
